snipe clear (requires Manage Messages) empties the cache. snipe webhook on (requires Manage Webhooks) relays sniped messages through a webhook so they appear under the original author’s name — much more readable, and much funnier.
Snipe reads a short-lived in-memory cache, not a log. Restarts clear it, and it only covers recent messages. For a permanent record, use logging.
